Story
After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter, Astrid, accidentally opens the portal to the afterlife. Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux and Monica Bellucci share why filming Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was an experience they’ll never forget. Tim Burton has said that this film would only be made if Michael Keaton returned to reprise his role.

Lydia informs Astrid that Rory wants to get married at midnight on Halloween night. That would make it November 1st, since midnight is the start of a new day, and it wouldn’t be Halloween anymore. Later, motherfucker. SPOILER: There’s a dedication in the end credits to Bob the Skinner, who died in the film.
I really didn’t like this movie

There wasn’t enough Beetlejuice, the human side of the drama was dull. I didn’t feel connected to the new characters.
I could have given it a lower rating
The charm of the first one was Beetlejuice tormenting the Dietz family. There really wasn’t enough of that in this movie. Overall, I think I’m being too generous with the 6 out of 10 rating. No major complaints about the acting, but it just didn’t have that magic of the first movie.
It just didn’t capture that essence of it
If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s definitely something to look forward to when it comes to streaming.
